About This Role

This 12-month maximum-term contract involves coordinating and delivering high-quality assessment, consultative, and referral services to support children and young people in care with complex trauma backgrounds.

You will also deliver specialist support to our care teams through therapeutic supervision, practice guidance, and leading reflective practice sessions.

This role requires a four-day workweek in Dubbo with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate high-quality assessment, consultative, and referral services for children and young people in care.
  2. Deliver specialist support to care teams through therapeutic supervision, practice guidance, and reflective practice sessions.
  3. Develop and implement effective strategies to support the development of children and young people with complex trauma backgrounds.

About You:

  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, education).
  • Significant experience in therapeutic assessments and interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and policies related to child protection and welfare.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
