We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) for Ward 3D Older Persons Mental Health Unit.

This key position will provide strategic support to Nursing Management, leading the delivery of exceptional clinical services, driving innovation, and championing practice improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advance clinical competence within Mental Health nursing practice.
  • Practice according to evidence-based nursing and latest contemporary practices in nursing.
  • Role model and influence a high standard of clinical practice among Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Graduates, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will bring a transformative mindset, challenging the status quo to drive clinical care innovation and excellence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering training and education, providing support and guidance to peers, patients, and their families.
  • Working within the Recovery Model of Care, whilst clinically and professionally operating within a Trauma-Informed Care and Customer Service Approach framework.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Communicating clearly and documenting legibly.
