Job Description

This role involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of engineered solutions for a large-scale infrastructure.

You will be working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in enhancing our infrastructure and implementing DevOps delivery models to continually improve reliability, security, and the rate of change.

We are looking for a skilled engineer who can leverage their infrastructure expertise to drive agility and transform the services we provide to stores and the ways they operate.

  • Design, develop, and deploy innovative infrastructure solutions for edge environments, considering network constraints.
  • Actively contribute to daily engineering tasks.
  • Understand existing operational processes and key stakeholder requirements.
  • Evaluate products and tools to assess their suitability against required capabilities.
  • Develop solutions that are easily supportable and incorporate self-healing capabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures for solutions.
  • Drive innovation by prototyping and demonstrating proof of concepts to gain sponsorship and adoption.
  • Take ownership of the entire POC lifecycle, including deliverables and timelines.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure changes following ITIL best practices and organizational change management process.
