Job Title: Events and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking an experienced Events and Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of a diverse events program.

  • Lead and deliver HIA's extensive calendar of industry-leading events, seminars, and networking functions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful event delivery
  • Develop annual partnership and events strategies
  • Identify, secure, and deliver new partnership opportunities to drive growth and profitability
  • Manage event logistics, marketing, budgeting, and reporting to ensure exceptional event experiences for attendees
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to continuously improve the events program and enhance member value
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align events with broader organisational objectives and member needs
  • Represent the organisation at key industry events and build its profile and reputation
  • Manage, coach, support, and mentor staff and external third-party stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with national event and other state managers and coordinators to improve processes and relationships and grow the brand

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in event management, preferably within the construction industry, property, or industry association sector
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and secure valuable partnerships
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and reporting skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience hosting Award events would be advantageous
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in event design and delivery
  • Enthusiasm for the property and construction industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences
