**About Event Builds**

We are seeking a skilled and diligent workshop assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the workshop team to assist in the construction of event builds and props from timber.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with timber and have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for assisting the preparation of event builds by screwing, pinning and gluing timber shapes together, then boggings and sanding them ready for painting or vinyl application.

Sometimes, projects require following through to installation on-site, providing an exciting opportunity to see your work come to life.

This is a casual position, with a focus on day shifts and in-person work at our Virginia warehouse.

We offer competitive hourly rates starting from $35.00 per hour, as well as opportunities for professional development and travel reimbursement.
