The Optometry Roster Coordinator plays a key role in developing and communicating optometry rosters to meet business demands and strategy. If you’re passionate about roster management and have excellent analytical skills, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

This role requires someone who can think strategically, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly. You will work closely with professional services managers and area eyecare managers to develop and manage optometry rosters, minimize locum usage, and manage state and national relief teams.

You will also be responsible for managing optometry annual leave balances, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and making recommendations to optimize roster performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate optometry rosters to ensure optimal fill rates and flexibility amongst the optometry community.
  • Match target optometry hours to maximize sales.
  • Manage compliance to optometry loadings.
  • Communicate with Professional Services Manager and Area Eyecare Managers.
  • Manage State and National Relief Teams.
  • Minimize locum usage and use only in regional and remote locations across ANZ.
  • Manage optometry annual leave balances together with Professional Service Managers.
Requirements
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Employee Payroll System skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Prioritization and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and enthusiasm for numbers and data.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify alternatives and make effective decisions.
