Transportation Design Assistant

We are seeking individuals who are currently studying engineering design at TAFE or those who are passionate about pursuing this field.

Our NSW/ACT Roads Group is a leader in highways design and we are looking for cadet/drafter apprentices to join our BIM/CAD team in Newcastle.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on vast transportation projects across Australia, modelling and drafting for the next generation of infrastructure.

What we look for in you:

  • A genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning
  • Completed current HSC or equivalent and enrolled in or wanting to enrol in engineering design at TAFE
  • Flair for design and computing technologies
  • Great communication skills
  • Desire to be part of a team dynamic
  • Passion for engineering

  • Passion for building design models and production of engineering drawing documentation
