Are you passionate about supporting young people on their mental health journey?
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will work with young people aged 15-24 who are experiencing serious mental health challenges.
As a Mental Health Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing psychosocial support to help participants build confidence, independence, and hope for the future. You will also work collaboratively with families and clinicians to ensure safe, trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities- Support young people in key areas such as social skills, leadership, decision-making, and resilience.
- Co-design recovery plans that focus on self-determination, resilience, and meaningful goals.
- Work collaboratively with families and clinicians to ensure safe, trauma-informed care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Certificate 4 in Mental Health Peer Work, or Certificate 4 in Community Services, or equivalent practical experience working in a mental health role.
- Rights to work in Australia.
- A current and valid Driver's License.
- Satisfactory Police Records Check less than 12 months old.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
