Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Part-time Accredited Exercise Physiologist at Belgravia Leisure. This role is situated within a dynamic and supportive team environment, where you will have the chance to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals with chronic diseases, NDIS participants, and those undergoing rehabilitation from injuries or surgeries.
Our approach prioritizes patient-centered care, and the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and implementing tailored exercise interventions aimed at managing various health conditions. Our Exercise Physiologist teams foster strong relationships with local stakeholders and create effective referral pathways to enhance client outcomes.
This position starts with part-time hours, with the potential to transition to full-time as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exercise interventions and educational support for individuals at risk of chronic conditions or injuries.
- Provide clinical exercise prescriptions for clients with pre-existing chronic and complex medical issues.
- Offer health education and guidance to promote overall well-being.
- Advance the visibility and understanding of Exercise Physiology within the organization and the broader community.
- Conduct group rehabilitation sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the rehabilitation process.
The ideal candidate must possess or be eligible for accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia.
