About the Role

This is an exciting time for Belgravia Health and Leisure Group Pty Ltd as we look to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Health and Fitness Manager to build and lead a passionate, professional and highly engaged fitness team.

As the Health and Fitness Manager, you will be a strong people leader who will be responsible for the recruitment, ongoing training and development of all Health and Fitness staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of strong member engagement offerings that attract high attendance
  • Ensure all Personal Training sessions are tailored to our client's needs
  • Recruit and inspire a team of enthusiastic fitness professionals
  • Ensure up to 90% of new members are scheduled for their Begin appointments
  • Provide a quality group fitness timetable including seasonal and quarterly updates
  • Manage safe and efficient health and fitness programs within legislative guidelines
  • Ensure all health club and group fitness equipment is in safe working order at all times
  • Maintain NPS and mystery shop scores in line with KPIs adopted by Belgravia Health and Leisure Group Pty Ltd
  • Manage budgets and prepare required reports
  • Demonstrate behaviours that are consistent with the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group Pty Ltd C.L.E.A.R. values

About You

You will be a leader open to new ideas and discovering creative opportunities to get the community moving. You have experience in leading a team to achieve collective and individual targets and are truly passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

You have strong communication skills that build rapport and positive relationships with people.

Ideally, you will have at least 5 years' experience in the Health and Fitness Industry and proven experience as a personal trainer or exercise physiologist. Leading by example is a high priority, and you can positively influence and negotiate win-win outcomes. You possess values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership and accountability.
