Cross Dock Operations Manager

About the Role:
Linfox Intermodal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cross Dock Supervisor to join their team in Acacia Ridge QLD. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods through the Cross Dock operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain safety standards and compliance with COR requirements
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to Cross Dock teams on loading, transportation, and delivery of goods
- Coordinate timely and accurate communication with subcontractors, customers, and Linfox operations
- Assist with operational functions, including allocation, cross dock/subcontractor management, and customer service
- Develop and maintain operational and commercial metrics
- Meet agreed KPIs, including service performance and cost management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in interstate transport operations or a combination of road transport and related industry knowledge
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to engage and maintain solid customer relationships
- Organized and systematic approach to work, with high-level attention to detail
- Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Heavy Vehicle regulations & Load Restraint
