Cross Dock Operations Manager

Linfox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cross Dock Supervisor to join their team in Acacia Ridge, QLD.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and ensure safety, service, performance, and cost standards are met within the Cross Dock Operation.
- Manage a complex and fast-paced operation to deliver outcomes within tight deadlines, prioritizing safety above all else.
- Coordinate timely and accurate communication for supply chain requirements between subcontractors, customers, and Linfox operations.
- Assist with various operational functions, including allocating, cross-dock/subcontractor management, and customer service.
- Develop and maintain operational and commercial metrics, ensuring KPIs are met, including service performance and cost management.
- Previous experience in interstate transport operations or a combination of road transport and related industry knowledge.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with various organizational levels, from senior management to drivers.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Ability to engage and maintain solid customer relationships through regular communication.
- Organized and systematic approach to work, with high-level attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Heavy Vehicle regulations & Load Restraint.
