Clinical Nurse Specialist

The successful applicant will have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes. The ICU is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires nurses to be able to think critically and work effectively in a team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse to develop their skills and knowledge in a specialist area of practice. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for participating in education on a shift-to-shift basis, self-directed completion of a workbook, online modules, short quizzes, and an oral presentation.
You will also provide exceptional care to patients and their families, participate in multidisciplinary discussions involving patient care, and work within your scope of practice. Additionally, you will ensure safe and high-quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent, current acute nursing experience, and registration as a Registered Nurse within Australia. You will also possess excellent clinical and organisational skills, basic computer skills, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities- Participate in education on a shift-to-shift basis as well as formal educational days

- Shift work, including 12 hour shifts and up to 50% nights
- Provide exceptional care to patients and their families
