Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reconciliation Specialist to join our finance team at IIQAF. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records through meticulous reconciliation processes.

About the Role

You will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling various financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with different departments to resolve any issues. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with financial regulations and enhance our financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner, communicating with external vendors and internal departments as necessary.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly reconciliation reports for management review, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial records and maintain comprehensive documentation of reconciliation processes for audit purposes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally with focus on reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes [insert benefits here].
