About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reconciliation Specialist to join our team at Sg Fleet Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Financial Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process finance rentals, terminations, and final settlements transactions to various financiers within the lease portfolio and other 3rd party payments.
  • Process urgent funding requests and daily new business applications review, corrections, and communication to relevant financiers.
  • Analyse and investigate discrepancies between SG Fleet systems and financier systems, including arrears investigations and identifying and resolving in live system data errors related to the Financial make up of a lease.
  • Update financiers on lease changes, including restructures and extensions, and liaise with relevant internal parties and financier contacts to resolve errors or complete transactions as required.
  • Reconcile suspense GL accounts as appropriate and prepare month end BS reconciliation reports.
  • Assist with specific projects, work, staff training, and process improvements related to funded lease transaction accuracy and reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Previous Reconciliations or General Ledger Experience.
  • Ability to solve problems and follow through to complete resolution.
  • Advanced Excel and macros skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems.
  • Proven customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise.
  • Strong technical/numerical skills and knowledge and is thorough and accurate.
