Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging with various stakeholders, including care delivery location workers, older people, and their representatives.

Lead Auditor Role:

This position involves leading on-site audits to assess the performance of aged care providers' systems and processes.

  • Leading site-based assessments to evaluate compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Working in the field to collect and document evidence through observations, document review, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Providing guidance and support to the audit team, ensuring effective delegation of tasks and workload management.
  • Cultivating a collaborative team environment, facilitating audit team meetings, and maintaining open communication with team members.

About this Opportunity:

This role offers a unique opportunity to work under the direction of the Assistant Director – Audit.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for conducting audits of Category 6 (residential) and Category 4 and 5 (home care) aged care providers.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing auditors on-site, analysing evidence, and making recommendations about conformance to Aged Care Quality Standards.
  2. Leveraging leadership and management skills to lead and develop staff, focusing on development, coaching, mentoring, and shared goal commitment.
