Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Research and Development Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative new products, processes, and continual improvement to existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out new product development projects, encompassing preparation of tentative formulations, preparation of sample prototypes, physical analysis, sourcing of materials, and contributing to the determination of COGs.
  • Formalize product specifications, provide technical input, troubleshoot as required, research related scientific principles, develop innovative product concepts/processes, maintain a functional research and development laboratory, establish and nurture key supplier relationships, and track and metrics of NPD trials and projects.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a Science or related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in product development, with a strong background in FMCG product development, and a working knowledge of the Australian code of GMP.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Advanced working level with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MRP, and/or ERP systems.
