Job Title: Construction LawyerAbout the Role

We are seeking a driven and highly skilled professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in construction law, with a particular focus on project advice, contract negotiation, and drafting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to developer clients and large asset owners on various construction matters
  • Prepare consultancy agreements, project term sheets, letters of intent, early works agreements, ECI and EPC contracts, tender contract documentation, and ancillary agreements
  • Review and negotiate civil and building construction contracts for commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional property development, as well as civil and mining works and infrastructure
  • Advise contractors and subcontractors on tender submissions and construction contract negotiations
  • Ensure alignment with planning legislation while advising clients on infrastructure planning, funding, and agreements
  • Assist our litigation team in tribunals involving issues such as security and retention, variation, and contract payment claims and defects
About You
  • At least 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of construction obligations supporting major development projects
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating various construction and infrastructure agreements
  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently
  • Excellent client service orientation with a desire to build strong client relationships
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
