Housekeeping Assistant Manager


LUXXE Outsourced Hotel Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our team in Cairns. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.


About the Role



  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct daily room inspections to ensure duties have been completed to meet service standards and guaranteed arrival times.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Analyse and resolve housekeeping-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent guest experience.

About You



  • Proven experience in a housekeeping leadership role, with a strong background in hospitality operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other departments.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff to achieve high standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and quality control.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and best practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
