Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Bradnam's Windows and Doors. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting our products to customers across the Cairns and Far North Qld region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all vehicles are safe, well-maintained, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Secure all items on the back of trucks and trailers before travel.
- Practice good hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Complete all paperwork and check sheets as required and on time.
- Contribute to good housekeeping at the branch.
- Demonstrate and uphold a commitment to safe work practices.
- Maintain driver diary and supporting paperwork in accordance with State and Federal Regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading the truck.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery instructions.
- Comply with site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign in's or other processes and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- A current driver's license (Manual) with a clean driving record.
- A construction white card.
- Prior truck driving experience.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling and lifting heavy loads.
- Great communication skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
