About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Career Advisor to join our team in supporting individuals with disabilities, injuries or health conditions into meaningful employment. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate professional to make a real difference in people's lives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their career aspirations, goals and challenges. They will provide tailored support and guidance to help clients develop a career plan that suits their needs and interests.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized career plans that align with clients' goals and aspirations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to clients to help them achieve their career objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to identify job opportunities and promote inclusive hiring practices.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with clients to monitor their career progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field such as Employment Services, Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in career development, coaching or counseling.
  • Strong understanding of disability employment initiatives and programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
