Physiotherapist - Acute Musculoskeletal Weekend Role

Eastern Health is one of Melbourne's largest public health services, providing a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services.
We are seeking skilled and experienced musculoskeletal clinicians to work in part-time roles as part of our weekend service.
About the RoleThis role will support our weekend Physiotherapy Grade 1 and AHA staff, with experience in delivering effective supervision and facilitating optimal learning experiences for all being desirable.
You will need to be an enthusiastic team player who is highly resourceful, agile and innovative, with excellent prioritisation, time management and communication skills.
The successful candidate will have relevant clinical experience in acute musculoskeletal physiotherapy with experience at grade 2 level, as well as experience in the care of patients following orthopaedic surgery (trauma and elective).
The ability to maintain change-readiness, agility & a solutions-focus, particularly in times of high demand, is also essential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions
- Collaborate with other health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- Eligibility for Membership of Australian Physiotherapy Association
- Relevant clinical experience in acute musculoskeletal physiotherapy with experience at grade 2 level
- Experience in the care of patients following orthopaedic surgery (trauma and elective)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
- A competitive salary package including base salary of $115,000 per annum, plus superannuation
