Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage overall budgets and financials, including member growth, EBIDTA, and retention strategies
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality facilities are maintained
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain staff members
  • Deliver training and mentoring for Club Department Heads, running weekly meetings to engage and motivate teams
  • Oversee staff rostering, approving leave, and managing fortnightly payroll
  • Manage internal and external marketing in line with the club's social media strategy
Requirements:
  • Experience managing a Big Box Gym with more than 20 staff and more than 2,000 members
  • Substantial experience in a KPI-driven management environment
  • Proven ability to manage overall budgets and financials, including member movement/growth, EBIDTA, and retention strategies
  • Expertise in overseeing large-scale gym facilities with multiple service areas such as crèche, retail, and apparel stores
  • Recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of staff
  • Effective use of internal software systems like Clubware, Debit Success, and Gym Sales
  • Experience in organizing and managing club events such as Open Days and 8-week challenges
