About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Maintenance Craftsman with a strong working knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies to contribute to the development of preventative maintenance plans and ensure seamless operation of our manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment, conducting preventive maintenance routines, identifying root causes of equipment failures, and implementing solutions. They will also participate in capital improvement projects and provide timely resolution of plant failures.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge and application of preventative maintenance strategies;
  • Experience working in a structured maintenance team with accountability for KPI delivery;
  • Proactive attitude and commitment to producing high-quality results;
  • High-level knowledge and commitment to WHS and risk management;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Formal trade qualifications required;
  • Willingness to work shifts as required;
  • Intermediate computer skills;
  • Welding skills (MMAW & MIG essential, TIG optional);
  • Significant experience as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably in manufacturing;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team;
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics training and experience;
  • Flexible work availability;
  • Current forklift license;
  • Reliable transport;
