About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to enhance our clients' concrete product manufacturing facility's operational efficiency. As part of our team, you will evaluate and implement efficient plant and equipment operations, ensuring seamless production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement efficient plant and equipment operations to optimize productivity.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity.
  • Analyze equipment failures and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Provide timely resolution of plant failures, ensuring business continuity.
  • Participate in capital and improvement projects to drive innovation.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Maintain adherence to Work Health & Safety (WHS) directives, prioritizing employee well-being.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies and techniques.
  • Experience working in a structured maintenance team with accountability for KPI delivery.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to producing high-quality results.
  • High-level knowledge and commitment to WHS and risk management practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Formal trade qualifications required, such as a trade certificate or diploma.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably MEX.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • Rigger or Dogman certification.
