Secure Applications Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Secure Applications Specialist to protect member and business information from inappropriate disclosure, maintaining integrity, and providing timely access.

  • Design and develop secure solutions to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data
  • Implement structured security practices and collaborate with stakeholders to design secure applications
  • Perform comprehensive security testing activities, including code reviews, penetration testing, and automated testing
  • Be a point of contact for all issues arising for Application Security services
  • Provide education and training on Application Security best practices to developers
  • Maintain Application security tooling, DevSecOps tooling, CI-CD pipelines, integrations optimally and enhance as per changes in environment
  • Keep Information Security procedures, architectures, standards, and guidelines up-to-date

Requirements

We're looking for an individual who has worked in fast-paced environments and is comfortable working with ambiguity. You'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent), Master's degree preferred
  • Knowledge in security-related infrastructure, technology associated with networks, internet, messaging, operating systems, firewalls, intrusion detection, cryptography, Wi-Fi, cloud, vulnerabilities, threat landscape, and intelligence
  • In-depth knowledge of operation assessment tools (including Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Powersploit, and Cobalt Strike)
  • In-depth knowledge of network mapping, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and Web Application testing
  • Thorough understanding of current and emerging security threats, relevant security solutions, and limitations
