We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Producer/Editor to join our team at NITV, a leading Indigenous media organization in Australia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content that showcases the stories and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and produce content that meets the needs of our audience and aligns with our organizational goals.
- Work closely with our editorial team to identify and pitch story ideas, and to develop and implement production plans.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Collaborate with our digital team to optimize content for online platforms and to maximize engagement with our audience.
- Perform editing duties as required, using advanced skills in Adobe Premiere.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced producer with a strong track record of producing high-quality content. You will have a deep understanding of the Indigenous media landscape and a passion for telling stories that showcase the diversity and richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Key qualifications include:
- 5+ years of experience in production, with a strong track record of producing high-quality content.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A deep understanding of the Indigenous media landscape and a passion for telling stories that showcase the diversity and richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
