We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Producer/Editor to join our team at NITV, a leading provider of Indigenous media in Australia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content that showcases the unique perspectives and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with our team of producers, editors, and writers to create engaging and informative content.
- Identify and pitch ideas for new content, working closely with our Executive Producer to ensure alignment with our network's values and audience interests.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Explore innovative ways to monetize our content through branded content, sponsorship deals, and other commercial initiatives.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled producer with a strong track record in producing high-quality content for Indigenous media. You will have a deep understanding of the Indigenous media landscape and a passion for showcasing the unique perspectives and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Key requirements include:
- 5+ years' experience in production, with a strong track record in producing high-quality content for Indigenous media.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
