About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fitter to join our Northern Territory team as a 3600 Site Support Fitter. In this permanent role, you will service and maintain a fleet of D3612 generator packages in a state-of-the-art powerhouse situated in Central Australia.

This is a rare opportunity for a motivated and experienced technician to upskill in power generation. NV1 Clearance is highly desirable but not essential.

About You

A successful teammate will have:

  • Trade Qualification – Certificate III Engineering (Diesel Fitting)
  • Power generation experience is highly desirable
  • Previous experience on CAT machinery & CAT diagnostic systems
  • Applicant must be able to pass an NV1 clearance check
  • Committed to a No Harm environment
  • Mechanical and diagnostic skills to carry out and perform preventative maintenance & servicing tasks
  • Well-developed customer and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
