Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our Workshop team in Alice Springs. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and servicing key CAT machinery, as well as performing diagnostic assessments on mining and general construction equipment.
We offer a competitive hourly rate and competency-based pay increases, as well as a relocation package of $10,000 to support your move to Alice Springs. You will also have access to additional benefits, including a 24.5% NT area allowance, employee discounts, rewards, and incentive programs, and income protection insurance.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant trade qualifications and demonstrated service and repair experience on heavy machinery. You should also have experience on Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems or similar, and a proven ability to maintain a high level of workplace health and safety.
