Reliability Engineering Leadership Role

Real-time data powers organizations to unleash their potential. We seek an experienced Reliability Engineering Manager to lead our team in delivering mission-critical systems with infinite scale, speed, and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a high-performance SRE team by hiring, onboarding, and mentoring top-tier engineers, fostering a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and automation.
  • Set technical direction for the team, ensuring strong execution across observability, reliability engineering, automation, and incident management, while participating in design reviews, architectural decisions, and complex troubleshooting efforts.
  • C coordinate with regional leaders to drive consistent follow-the-sun coverage, enabling seamless handoffs and continuity of operations across time zones.
  • Own and refine SRE processes for the region, ensuring system health, performance, and availability, championing automation-first approaches, eliminating toil, and scaling operations through tools—not just headcount.
  • Ensure on-call procedures follow industry standard best practices, manage schedules and escalation policies in PagerDuty, and participate in manager on-call duties.
  • Drive incident retrospectives, root cause analyses, and on-call remediation activities.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years providing 24x7 production support for cloud-based, business-critical systems, with demonstrated leadership in managing operations for enterprise-class organizations during challenging situations.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical leadership or management roles.
  • Experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Google, Azure).
  • CI/CD pipeline expertise and automation using technologies like Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
  • Distributed services maintenance on virtual machines and containers (Docker) with orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE).
  • Cryptographic fundamentals and best practices.
  • Security vulnerability assessment in code and running systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building or leading new engineering teams within a globally distributed organization is a strong plus.
  • Large-scale distributed systems knowledge in public cloud environments.
  • Secure multi-cloud operations knowledge in compliance-conscious environments.
