Senior Team Member Opportunity

The Australian Federal Police seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Senior Team Member.

  • This is a pivotal role that requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence behaviours that create a supportive culture.

As a Senior Team Member, you will play a key role in developing people, managing change, and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing team members through guiding, mentoring, and advisory roles.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to form project-specific relationships and ensure successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Managing project procurement, contract management activities, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Pursuing professional networks and collaborative working relationships to ensure efficient and effective project management.
  • Maintaining accurate records and complying with reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing sound advice on ways to improve or enhance business practices.
  • Anticipating, investigating, and resolving problems in systems and services.
  • Representing Central Procurement Services at meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated experience in project support, finance, administration, including budgets, financial management, reporting, procurement, and contract management.
  • Demonstrated understanding and working experience of Government procurement policies and legislation.
