**Waste Management Leader Role**

We are seeking a skilled Waste Management Leader to lead our waste management operations. The successful candidate will have experience in leading a team and a passion for sustainability.

The role involves coordinating the day-to-day activities of the team, supervising processing technicians, actively participating in the processing of recycling, and liaising with clients and the general public on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the waste management team
  • Supervise processing technicians to ensure efficient operations
  • Participate in the processing of recyclables to minimize waste
  • Liaise with clients and the general public to provide excellent customer service
  • Prepare monthly reports on waste management performance
  • Order stock and materials as required to maintain optimal operations
  • Triage service requests, queries, and provide feedback or service information
  • Accurately report daily performance metrics
  • Ensure all fleet and equipment are maintained at all times
  • Escalate any safety or operational issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety throughout operations

Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Experience and knowledge in waste management desirable
  • Leadership and team management skills essential
  • First Aid certification desirable
  • Current Victorian driver's license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
