Engineering Support Professional

This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in the supportability of defence products. As part of our team, you will be responsible for spares development, management, and analysis of equipment throughout its lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing critical insights into Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities, including life cycle cost analysis and planned maintenance documentation.
  • Contributing to engineering and technical team decisions, developing LORA, MTA and OTA documentation and outcomes.
  • Supporting obsolescence and disposal activities, with a focus on trade-off analysis during the design and modification of equipment and associated logistics support requirements.
  • Aiding process improvement initiatives within the engineering lifecycle, aiming for continuous enhancements in quality, cycle time, and asset utilisation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance.
  • A technical vocational qualification/certificate.
  • Experience within ILS acquisition or sustainment programs.
  • An understanding of applicable ILS/IPS and Engineering Toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, modelling, design, simulation and analysis software).
