Patient Care Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the position of Patient Services Assistant at our medical centre.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily and Discharge Cleaning
- General Cleaning within the unit
- Waste segregation and removal
- Performing ward tasks such as pathology and blood bank errands
- Assisting with patient transfers
To ensure success in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Additionally, you should have great attention to detail and strong time management skills.
Mandatory requirements for this position include:
- Certificate 3 in Patient Services
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying, and manual handling
- Proven experience in customer service and cleaning in a healthcare environment
- Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks
- Excellent understanding of infection control procedures
- Basic to intermediate computer/digital skills
