Job Title: Community Program Coordinator
This role involves coordinating our Social Support Group (SSG) program, overseeing a team of dedicated employees and volunteers. We seek an individual who can bring energy, innovative ideas, and passion to this role.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations and administration of Social Support programs within established guidelines.
- Plan and schedule monthly events for our Social Support calendar.
- Maintain accurate client records and data on services, ensuring regular evaluations of client needs and service delivery occur.
- Ensure timely updates of client information for employees and/or volunteers before interacting with clients.
- Regularly review client and volunteer requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to develop service delivery plans aligned with their needs.
- Uphold principles of wellness and client-focused service delivery.
- Train and support employees and volunteers in transport and social support services, ensuring direct supervision meets position description requirements.
- Roster employees and volunteers as needed, manage leave to minimise impact on services.
Essential Requirements:
To be considered, you must have:
- A Certificate IV or higher in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services.
- Experience networking, liaising, and building partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant community resources and services.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Australian work rights.
- Current Western Australian driver's license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current national police clearance (not older than 6 months).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CHSP and experience working with CHSP-funded services.
- Experience in coordinator-level roles within Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Experience working in not-for-profit organisations, particularly with volunteers.
