About the Role

As a Merchandising Specialist, you will report to the Head of Sales and be responsible for overseeing your territory, ensuring the development and achievement of agreed objectives. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Executing all head office organised promotional activity within stores
  • Managing and updating territory call cycle ensuring efficiency and value is maximised
  • Execution excellence: ensuring brand bays, gondola end, mesh end are aligned to planograms & promotional plans
  • Managing stores inventory and shelf stock weight ensuring no gaps in execution
  • Field Intelligence – providing timely territory reporting on non-compliance, competitor insights and trends from the field
  • Ensuring all price ticketing is correct
  • Seeking opportunities for additional / tactical off location space
  • All communication with client is undertaken in a timely and professional manner
  • Building/Maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Attending sales meetings/training courses as required by management

About You

We are looking for a candidate with previous merchandising experience, who can build rapport with key stakeholders, has basic IT skills to generate reports to management, and can understand what the customer wants. You should be well-organised, good at planning, have good verbal communication skills, a creative flair, and the ability to cope with the pressure of fast-paced work.
