Job Title: Counselling Team Lead
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselling Team Lead to join our dynamic team at The Scots College.
Key Responsibilities- To lead and manage a team of counsellors to deliver high-quality counselling services to students.
- To develop, implement and evaluate effective counselling programs that meet the needs of students.
- To provide individual and group counselling sessions to students, addressing their personal, social and academic issues.
- To work closely with teachers, parents and other support staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student wellbeing.
- To maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Counselling or related field (desirable).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in leading a team of counsellors.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective counselling programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures.
