Bookkeeper Opportunity

Take your career to the next level with this exciting opportunity as a Bookkeeper in a dynamic accounting firm.

This role involves managing a portfolio of 20-30 clients, preparing financial statements, account and bank reconciliations, coding and data entry using MYOB and Xero, and producing weekly and monthly reports. You'll also be responsible for ledger and journal updates for clients.

Our ideal candidate will have previous public practice experience, managed a portfolio of clients, and possess sound knowledge of MYOB and Xero. Experience with Handisoft is an advantage but we can provide training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of 20-30 clients, including preparation of financial statements, account and bank reconciliations, and ledger and journal updates.
  • Financial Data Entry: Accurately enter client financial data into MYOB and Xero systems.
  • Reporting: Produce weekly and monthly reports for clients and management.

Requirements:

  • Previous Public Practice Experience: Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a public practice firm.
  • Client Portfolio Management: The ability to manage a portfolio of clients and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of MYOB and Xero, with experience with Handisoft being an advantage.
