Your Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Compnow, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of our software offerings. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance applications that cater to our clients' varied requirements. Working closely with a talented and dynamic team, you will leverage your expertise across multiple technologies, ensuring our solutions are not only functional but also innovative and user-friendly. You will play a key role in promoting technical excellence across projects, providing leadership in code quality, architectural design, and best practices. Your position will be crucial in aligning our development processes with the strategic objectives of the business, delivering high-quality solutions on schedule and within scope.

  • Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable applications utilizing a variety of technologies.
  • Lead the development of both front-end and back-end features, emphasizing security, maintainability, performance, and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical support and fostering their professional growth.
  • Develop and maintain applications across various languages and platforms.
  • Implement and execute testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, to ensure software quality.
  • Work with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues prior to deployment.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, particularly with technologies such as jQuery, C#, .Net 8, and relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and related standards like REST, HTTP1/2, CORS, authentication, and RPC frameworks.
  • Experience in developing cross-platform applications using frameworks like Swift, MAUI (Multi-platform App UI), or Xamarin (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with additional frameworks or libraries beyond those mentioned, such as React or Angular (highly desirable).
  • Recognized certification demonstrating proficiency in iOS development (highly desirable).

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing mobile and web applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality, user-centric mobile applications from concept to deployment.
  • Experience in managing full-cycle projects from conception through to deployment and maintenance.
  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain complex systems and applications.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior developers, providing technical oversight and fostering skill development within the team.
