Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Recruitment Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will assist with end-to-end recruitment functions for volume and project recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a values-driven and people-focused organization.

About the Role:

  1. Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment, assessment, and selection process.
  2. Provide hands-on guidance and support to hiring managers in reviewing resumes, shortlisting, and pre-screening candidates.
  3. Conduct phone screening and pre-interview assessments.
  4. Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  5. Support hiring managers in developing effective interview guides.
  6. Participate in interviewing processes as part of the panel as required.
  7. Conduct reference checks as required and support hiring managers through this process.
  8. Upload documents into Kronos as required and ensure all documentation is provided before commencement.
  9. Closing off job requisitions in Kronos and ensuring all unsuccessful candidates have been contacted.
  10. Support hiring managers with letters of offer and onboarding processes within the Kronos system.
  11. Provide advice on where resources can be found (Wellspring etc) to support a smooth onboarding process.
  12. Coordinate with the People and Culture Officer with requests to appoint and arranging login details.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in volume recruitment and/or service set-up projects, which meet the commencement date of these new services, is highly regarded.
  • Proven capacity to apply best-practice recruitment and selection processes and effectively support hiring managers.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to be solution-focused and hands-on.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, prioritize, and deliver on multiple tasks and achieve deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • An engaging style and ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve outcomes.
  • Proficient in HR systems (preferably Kronos).
  • Experience in the use of recruitment platforms including Seek and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Knowledge of online reference check platforms and best practice of such.
  • Proven capacity to develop and implement process improvements and initiatives.
  • The successful applicant must complete a National Police History Check.
  • Applicants must hold a current Australian Driver's License.
