Residential Property Management Opportunity

This is an excellent chance to establish a high-performing property management function from the ground up, taking ownership of a growing portfolio of high-end apartments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing systems, tools, and processes that drive compliance, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the leasing of premium residential apartments, including inspections, applications, tenant engagement, and lease preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with Victorian legislation, trust accounting, and holding of tenant funds.
  • Implement systems or software to support portfolio management, documentation, and reporting.
  • Prepare high-quality reporting on leasing performance, income, and vacancy trends.
  • Represent the company in tenancy matters, including escalations, negotiations, and VCAT appearances.
  • Monitor market and regulatory trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in residential property management, with at least 3 in a senior or autonomous capacity.
  • Proven success in building or leading a high-performing property management function.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (Vic), VCAT processes, and leasing compliance.
  • Sound understanding of trust account management and documentation best practice.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting capabilities.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
