Job Title: OSHC Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead an Out of School Hours Care program at a Girl's School in Armadale. This is a part-time, ongoing position.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the program, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences for children.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including National Quality Framework (NQF) standards.
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as rostering, budget management, and record keeping.

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement of an ACECQA approved Diploma of Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a Coordinator of an OSHC Provision.
  • Senior First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma training.
  • Food Safety Certification, or willingness to complete relevant training.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
  • Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check (or be willing to obtain one) or VIT registration (if applicable).
