Our organization is seeking skilled Support Workers to join our team in delivering quality care services to clients in their homes and within the community.

About the Role

Care Workers will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, supporting them to maintain a full and active life through personal care, community access, social support, respite, and light domestic assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care - assisting with showering and all personal care needs
  • Community Access - taking clients out to appointments and shopping
  • Social Support and Community Engagement
  • Respite - allowing families to take a break
  • Light Domestic Assistance - meal preparation, light domestic duties

Requirements:

  • A valid Driver's Licence (P's accepted)
  • A NDIS Worker Screen Number or Application Number
  • A Current Working with Children Check for Employment or Application Number
  • Cert III or IV in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support
  • A Current First Aid Certificate - Current within 3 years
  • A Current CPR Certificate - Current within 12 months
  • The completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
  • Fully vaccinated as per Public Health Orders
  • Broad and flexible availability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • A compassionate personality
