The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager (Digital Projects), Digital Change to join our new, global, Digital Legal Delivery practice to be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a 12-month maximum term contract.

As a Senior Manager within our Digital practice, you will play a lead role on a range of digital projects, bringing together multidisciplinary teams and consulting with stakeholders across the business to drive towards optimal digital solutions for the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead successful teams to deliver digital projects that have a scale, positive impact on the firm: this will require the application of an analytical mindset and problem-solving approach to design and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with projects' business owner(s) to ensure the design meets the needs of the business and identifies and addresses key risks in delivery.
  • Proactively share best practice and support peers where expertise or experience allows. Provide support and coaching for junior members of the team, acting as escalation points for issues within projects or for more general challenges or queries.
  • Be an active participant in project governance, primarily regarding the delivery of the relevant digital projects but also to provide broader input and insights into strategic / prioritisation decisions for the team and the firm.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in digital transformation or a related field with proven track record of leading successful digital transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes and associated technology.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading a team to deliver successful outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment – to encompass but not limited to problem identification and solution design.
  • Strategic, solution-focused thinker – able to balance a desire for perfection with the need to achieve progress.
  • Proven ability to develop a high-performance team.
