About the Role

Cranbrook Care is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse in Charge to join our team at our premium aged care residences in Neutral Bay, Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective personal and clinical care to our residents, while also leading and managing a team of personal carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective personal and clinical care to residents, meeting their individual needs and optimizing their health and wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Cranbrook Care's responsibilities under the Aged Care Act 1997 and the Aged Care Quality Standards 2019.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of personal carers to deliver exceptional care to residents.
  • Live the Cranbrook Care culture and work according to our values.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the NSW Registration Board.
  • Minimum 2 years Aged Care experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • First Aid and CPR qualification essential.
  • Fluent spoken English and literate in English.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
  • Experience monitoring infection control.
  • Care planning and assessment experience.
  • Palliative Care experience.
  • Dementia Care experience.
  • ACFI/AN-ACC experience.
