Student Placement Coordinator Job Description:

Victorian Institute of Technology offers Higher and Vocational Education courses. We are committed to providing students with the best possible educational opportunities and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative functions supporting internships and student placements.
  • Sourcing placement providers, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring accurate records management.
  • Exercise judgement and initiative in case management and resolution of issues.

We are looking for someone who can provide advice and support to students in relation to general placement enquiries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working at an Australian Education Provider in a similar role.
  • Able to prioritise and work efficiently and accurately in times of high pressure.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a supportive team environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Significant experience in organising internships for higher education students.
