Job Opportunity

We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Safety and Security Co-worker.


This position involves providing administrative support for risk prevention and compliance tasks, including audits, incident reporting, database management, and filing.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.


Responsibilities include monitoring and reviewing CCTV, conducting investigations, responding quickly and efficiently to alarms, and initiating emergency response procedures where required.


The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the store is compliant with all rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements, to protect our assets and the brand.

Requirements

Permanent Part-time, 30-50hrs/fortnight


Availability to work a range of hours from 6am to 10, weekdays and alternating weekends (both Saturday and Sunday)


Pre-employment Check, including National Police Check for final candidates


First Aid & CPR Certifications required


Assist in ensuring the store is compliant with all IKEA and local rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements


Support a Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying and implementing systems to detect, analyse and reduce business loss, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents in the store


Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that health, safety, and security standards are met across all departments
