About the Role

As a Home Care Worker at Uniting AgeWell, you will play a vital role in delivering direct personal care and domestic assistance, alongside social support and transport as required for clients in the Grampians Region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care including assisting clients with showering, grooming, personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs
  • Assisting with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Observing clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural status, and reporting any observations or concerns
  • Ensuring clients' rights, cultural, spiritual, and other individual needs are respected in all aspects of care and daily living

About you:

You are passionate about making a difference in clients' lives, helping them reach their potential while staying in their homes.

Join us if you have:

  • A Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability), or are pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence
  • A registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or a willingness to obtain them

  • Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • A satisfactory National Criminal Police Record Check OR NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Annual vaccination(s) as per the Uniting AgeWell vaccination policy
  • Australian work rights
