Electronics Communications Technician Role Overview

As an Electronics and Communications Technician, you will have the unique opportunity to work on deployable defense systems that safeguard sovereignty.

Key responsibilities include constructing and testing electrical data RF cables using approved schematics drawings and instructions.

You will also integrate hardware electronic mechanical and optical equipment according to engineering-approved installation guidelines conduct post-installation alignment adjustment and comprehensive production testing of equipment using simple and complex test equipment troubleshoot repair and replace faulty Repairable Items (RIs) and hardware post-production testing to ensure compliance with approved design specifications.

Additionally, you will utilize hand and small power tools various measuring and testing devices in performing duties proactively identify production efficiencies and communicate them to supervisors perform any additional duties as required.

With a strong technical background and relevant experience you will be proficient in interpreting technical documents and solving electronic system/equipment problems skilled in maintaining production tooling equipment and demonstrating expert hand skills in soldering and repair maintain accountability of parts and equipment with strong technical documentation skills.
